Pain Management

Fremont Surgery Center offers a comprehensive pain management program with board-certified pain management physicians who perform a number of therapeutic techniques to relieve long-term pain. In addition to performing routine epidural blocks and radiofrequency thermocoagulation (RFTC) medial branch rhizotomy for long-term pain relief, specialists at Fremont Surgery Center also implant stimulant pumps, a neurosurgical procedure.

Pain management procedures are most commonly performed under conscious sedation, but can also be safely performed under a local anesthetic. Our nurses who administer the conscious sedation at the direction of your physician are specially trained for your safety and comfort.
