Ear, Nose & Throat (ENT)
Otolaryngology (also known as ENT) is the specialty that focuses on the treatment of ear, nose, throat, sinus, head and neck disorders.
Because Fremont Surgery Center is one of the newest ambulatory surgery centers in the area, we offer the most up to date equipment, including image guidance equipment and instruments that make sinus surgery as safe as possible.
At Fremont Surgery Center we offer a full range of ENT procedures that can be safely performed on adults and children in an outpatient setting. For our younger patients, we have anesthesiologists who specialize in pediatrics.
ENT procedures performed at our facility include:
-
Tonsillectomy, removal of the tonsils.
-
Adenoidectomy, removal of the adenoids.
-
Myringotomy, in which a tiny incision is created in the eardrum to relieve pressure caused by the excessive build-up of fluid.
-
Septoplasty, which corrects defects or deformities of the nasal septum to reduce nasal congestion.
-
Turbinate reduction, which shrinks swollen tissue in the nose to improve nasal airflow.
-
Treatment of sleep apnea, a disorder characterized by abnormal pauses in breathing or instances of abnormally low breathing during sleep.
-
Minimally invasive techniques to treat sinus disorders and nasal congestion, including balloon sinuplasty and coblation.
-
Pediatric surgery, in which our surgical team is particularly skilled at performing procedures on children with the utmost care and compassion.
